Assumption Home

About This Project

The Assumption Home came to us with a need for an updated website. Their old site was a bit dark for their taste and they wanted something more welcoming, brighter and overall, a better representation of who they were. They were also interested in managing some of their site themselves, so a content management system was in store.

The first step of the process was to collect assets from their current brand. This gave us a color palette to work with as well as a feeling the logo conveyed. After the initial strategy, we crafted two designs for them. One, in particular, felt great – with a bright color palette that just felt right. Low and behold it was the design the client chose.

After the designs were approved, we moved into development. We chose the Concrete5 CMS for its user-friendly client interface AND dev friendly environments – the best of both worlds! This allowed us to create a site that's easy for the client to manage, yet still custom geared for their needs.

In the end, the client was happy and we were happy. Mission accomplished!
